Auto Repair History

Warren and Lona Swanson started Budget Brake and Muffler in 1971, with their first location in New Westminister.  The business began by specializing in brake and muffler repairs.  

Over the years we have grown to 32 locations, in British Columbia and Alberta.  By listening to the requests of our customers, we have expanded our services to include full automotive repair.

The success of Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centres is our people.  Some of our owners have been with us for over 30 years! They are even passing their businesses on to their children.  

We are proud of our franchisees and their continued and consistent presence in the automotive repair market.
